A special 40th birthday gift!

I wanted to share with you a special design that I made yesterday for a customer. This is from her husband for her 40th birthday! What a special gift that she will be able to wear forever. It is a birthstone bracelet with her three children's birthstones as the focal point. I created this piece with Sterling Silver and Sterling Silver Bali Beads. It is a unique piece and one that I hope she will enjoy wearing. Happy Birthday!

Do you want to learn how to bead?

In case you didn't know I offer beading workshops for both children and adults! In addition I am now offering individual classes. There is no fee for the workshops or classes, I only charge you for the supplies that you use (you can not bring your own supplies). I am currently offering beginner's stringing classes where you can learn how to make a bracelet, necklace, key chain or book mark. I also offer advanced classes where you can learn how to make earrings, watches, cell phone charms or rosaries.

Beading workshops are a lot of fun! All you need to do is gather five or more of your friends, find a location with table space and I bring everything you need for a night of fun! Several great locations are at someones home, a local library, church or Florence Panera! Each person can choose what they want to bead!

Several local Mom's Clubs and MOPS groups have hosted beading workshops for their groups and had a great turnout and a lot of fun! If you are interested please contact me!

Giving Back to Susan G. Komen!

This special bracelet was designed exclusively for Croppin' Hearts, LLC. This fabulous group crops for a cause! They host special crop events to raise money for organizations that are special to their "heart". I designed this exclusive bracelet for them and we were all so pleased with how it turned out. $2.00 from the sale of each bracelet will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Another 4 Strand Bracelet!

I have just completed another four strand bracelet design. This one is Sterling Silver and Bali Silver with Swarovski Crystals. I love to make four strand bracelets but it is not often that I have someone with four children. This bracelet turned out really nice and I was very pleased with it. I hope the new owner is too!

Interchangeable Earrings Are Addictive!

I am "addicted" to earrings! I guess if I have to be addicted to something at least it is healthy :-) When I first started beading I just had a few pairs and as I was making more and more I realized that what I needed was a way to make them interchangeable. It is the perfect solution. Now I only need one pair of lever's and I can have as many "dangles" as I want. I literally have a pair for every outfit!


Prices for earrings with lever's are $10.00 and additional dangles are $6.00 per set.

4 Strand Name Bracelet

I designed this four strand name bracelet for one of my former students for a Mother's Day gift for her mother. I think it turned out beautifully! It is made from swarovski pearls and crystals and features two sizes of corrugated sterling silver beads and sterling silver Bali bead caps. It features a sterling silver toggle clasp. I think it is a one of a kind!

New Gemstone Watch!

I love natural gemstones! I wanted to share my latest watch design with you. It is made of a variety of natural gemstones and sterling silver accent beads. This a two strand design made with a toggle clasp. I use all Quartz watch faces that are Rhodium coated and will not tarnish. I love using natural gemstones for many reasons but most of all they remind me of fall and go with ANYTHING!
