Two new handstamped designs!

I recently designed this Live, Laugh, Love Charm for my friend Tonya. She told me she wanted a stamped charm that said "Live, Laugh, Love" with a pearl dangle and I came up with the layered charms. "All sports" bracelet

Are you a sports mom? If so then this is the perfect bracelet for you! I designed this bracelet for a customer that has 5 grandchildren playing a variety of sports. She did not want to include names due to having so many grandchildren but did want to include all of the sports that they play. She is proud to wear this bracelet on "game day" :-) I also have golf, tennis and volleyball beads available.

Three "crafty" key chains...perfect for gift giving!

I had the opportunity to teach a beading workshop Saturday at a local Crafting Day organized to raise money for Cathy Halloran owner and founder of the non-profit organization "Chicks and Chucks". Cathy is a breast cancer survivor and raises money for women whose insurance does not cover wigs and prosthetics.

All of the women who took the class really enjoyed it and were interested in taking more in the future!

I designed three "crafty" key chains for the ladies to choose from. All three would make great gifts for all of the "crafty" women in your life!

Happy Halloween! As you know fall is my favorite time of year. I also love Halloween. I think mostly because it is a fun time for Peyton but in addition it allows me to design some fun pieces of jewelry to wear during this season! I designed this Jack-O-Lantern bracelet and earrings for a customer. I used Sterling Silver Jack-O-Lantern charms and orange and black cats eye. I think it turned out "spooktakular" :-) The price for the earrings are $15.00 and the price for the bracelet is $25.00.

I designed this very special Mommy bracelet for a very special Mommy! I was very excited for my friend Danielle when her hubby emailed me to place an order for a two strand Gold and Bali Silver name bracelet for her for her birthday. I knew that she really wanted one and he did an awesome job picking out the top of the line for her! I hope that she likes it and I wanted to wish her a very Happy Birthday!

An exclusive design for Pages For Preemies...

As you know my good friend Karie has started a wonderful service project called Pages for Preemies. The mission is simple. She would like to provide each and every parent of a NICU baby with a completed scrapbook page. So many parents with children in NICU don’t get to touch, hold, kiss or sadly, bring their baby home; a pre-made scrapbook page allowing them to slip a picture of their precious little one is perfect. Parents can hang it on their baby’s crib/incubator and eventually take it home with them to place in a scrapbook or frame.

I am personally not a scrapbooker but have been trying to figure out a way to contribute. I finally came up with the idea to design an "exclusive" bracelet for Pages for Preemies. I will be donating $5.00 from the purchase of every bracelet to Pages for Preemies!

Here is my exclusive design! It will be for sale at the Stamp and Scrap Clubhouse event on Sunday October 12th. It will also be available through my website and here on my blog.

I chose the three charms for specific reasons in this design.

I chose the "I love to scrap" charm because the women who are creating these pages love scrap booking and they are creating pages for the parents of preemies.
I chose the heart charm because of the love behind this special project.
I chose the rose charm as a symbol of strength. Each baby and family member with a baby in the NICU needs strength.

This cause is very near and dear to my heart. My nephew Austin was born 5 weeks prematurely and spent 10 days in the NICU at birth. Those were some very scary days for us and some of the saddest for me because I could not "hold" him while he was in the NICU. I spent many of nights laying by the phone, waiting for updates. I know that if you have ever had a loved one in the NICU you understand.

MJennings Designs Introduces...Hand Stamped Sterling Silver Charms!

I am very excited to introduce Hand Stamped Sterling Silver Charms to my jewelry line! I recently took a class and learned how to stamp on metal as well as purchased a lot of new "toys"...I mean equipment :-) I can customize with names, numbers or a phrase just for you!

I have letters A-Z, Numbers 0-9 and the symbol &. I am looking to add to more symbols to my collection in the near future. If you are interested in a hand stamped design please contact me for pricing!

I have charms available in the following shapes: circle, oval, square, rectangle, scalloped, heart and dog tags. They come in a variety of sizes as well! Hand stamped charms are perfect for a simple neoprene, leather or chain necklace or bracelet as well as a key chain. Another neat idea is to make a tag for your children to wear with Mom's cell phone number in case they get lost while you are out and about.

In this design I used a hand stamped charm to create a bracelet using swarovski crystals and sterling silver beads.



In this design I stamped my sons name and placed it on a neoprene necklace.



In this set you can see a small oval charm that I hand stamped my son's initials on.

We all of us have been touched by breast cancer in some way...

As you know October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I wanted to highlight my breast cancer ribbon designs this month. Each design would make a special keepsake to someone who is battling breast cancer, is a breast cancer survivor or has lost someone they love to breast cancer. I have personally been touched by breast cancer as our dear family friend was recently diagnosed. I designed the three piece set for her as a remembrance of our support while she is battling breast cancer. I urge all women to get regular mammograms and do monthly self breast examinations as early detection is so crucial. In addition I donate 10% from the sales of these pieces to the American Cancer Society.
