A bracelet of "Hope"

I just designed this bracelet for Teri at The Infertility Chronicles . She just won my giveaway at Jo Jo's Place 500th post blog party!

Once I read Teri's blog I knew that I wanted to design something special for her. She is struggling with infertility which as most of you know I did as well. I came up with the idea of doing a "Hope" bracelet for her. My prayers is that it gives her strength during this time of her life.

She loved the idea and after thinking about colors for the bracelet she came up with using a maroon stone to represent a pomegranate. Pomegranates are known as a symbol of fertility, so often infertile women will wear a single strand of pomegranate-colored embroidery floss around their wrist and it is referred to as
"Infertility's common thread".

I love how the design turned out. My prayer while making it is to bring her HOPE as she struggles with her infertility and may the pomegranates bring her a child in whatever path the Lord decides. I personally know what she is going through and now daily thank God for my infertility. You can read more about my story at my personal blog at Peytons Mamasita.

May this bracelet bring Teri "HOPE".

How special! That was a really beautiful gift to give. I struggled for a long time to conceive so I know a little about that challenge.

What a neat way to show support!
Take Care,
Jen

p.s. I am nominating you for blog of the week on The blog Train!
